Stradl is an options-premium tracker. You type in the option positions you hold, and it works out what they're worth. This policy describes exactly what data that involves, where it goes, and what you can do about it.
Your email address, so you can sign in and recover your account.
Your password, which is hashed by our authentication provider and never stored or transmitted by us in a readable form. We cannot see it.
The positions you enter. For each one: the ticker, the strategy, the strike, the expiration date, the number of contracts, premium collected or paid, your average cost per share, fees, the current mark, the closing price, the dates you opened and closed it, and any notes you write.
Your brokerage holdings, but only if you choose to link an account. Linking is entirely optional and the app works without it — it exists so positions arrive automatically instead of being typed in. If you link, Stradl receives the list of accounts at that brokerage and the positions held in them, including full option contract details. You can use Stradl indefinitely without ever linking anything.
You do not give Stradl your brokerage password. For brokers that support it, your login happens on SnapTrade's own page via a protocol called OAuth, and the credentials never reach Stradl or SnapTrade at all. Where a broker doesn't support that, SnapTrade handles the login directly on its own page and encrypts the credentials it receives — Stradl never sees them either way. The connection is created read-only: it can see positions and cannot place a trade, move money, or change anything at your brokerage.
That is the complete list. Stradl does not ask for or receive your name, phone number, postal address, date of birth, government identifiers, payment details, contacts, photos, calendar, health data, or location. It does not read anything else on your device.
Stradl contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. There is no advertising identifier, no device fingerprinting, no behavioural profile, and no third-party SDK that collects data about you. Nothing about your use of the app is measured or reported.
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for advertising or marketing.
Four outside services are involved, and each sees a different, limited slice. The fourth applies only if you link a brokerage.
AAPL. Be aware that this does reveal which contracts are being
tracked. It does not include how many contracts you hold, what you paid,
your notes, or your email address. These requests are made by Stradl's own
server, not by your device, using its own credentials — so the price
provider never sees your IP address, your email, or anything tied to your
account.
AAPL.
Nothing else.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the requests it receives.
When you import a brokerage CSV, the file is read and interpreted entirely on your device. Only the positions it produces are saved to your account. The file itself is never uploaded, and Stradl retains no copy of it.
“Explore the demo” signs you into a shared, read-only account containing sample positions. It requires no sign-up, collects no information about you, and nothing you do in it is saved.
You can delete all of your positions at once from the menu, at any time. That removes them from the database permanently.
You can also delete your entire account from Account settings. It erases the account and every position in it immediately and permanently — we keep no copy to restore from, so please be sure.
You can also ask us for a copy of everything held about you, or for a correction to it.
Stradl is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Traffic between the app and our services is encrypted in transit. Your sign-in session is stored in the device Keychain rather than ordinary app storage, and is excluded from device backups. Database access is restricted per-account.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who sees it, we will update the date at the top and note the change here.
